Welcome to our large house at Le Sableau, Chaillé les Marais in the Marais Poitevin. With family or friends, you'll have private access to the swimming pool, summer kitchen, shady garden (approx. 800m²) and trampoline! A pétanque court is also available at certain times. Dogs are welcome! The garden is perfectly enclosed to prevent any runaways. The house is ideally located for exploring the region's many attractions: - the Marais Poitevin and its landing stages (Maillezais Abbey, Coulon) - the beaches of southern Vendée (la Faute sur mer, l'Aiguillon sur mer, la Tranche sur mer,...) - the Maison du Maître de Digues at Chaillé-les-Marais, numerous hiking trails (Sainte-Gemme la plaine and Mervent forests) and cycling trails (Vélodyssée and Lavélofrancette). - La Rochelle (30 minutes away) - Ile de Ré and the Puy du fou park (1 hour's drive). You can walk there and enjoy the peace and quiet. Every year in August, for 4 evenings, a Son et Lumières show on the history of the Marais takes place at the pond. A must-see for the whole family! Please note: the owners of the house are staying in the house next door. But discretion is essential. Each house is autonomous, independent and not overlooked. The pool will be cleaned every day, early in the morning. After 10 p.m., bathing must be done in peace and quiet to respect the tranquillity of the hamlet. Bed linen and towels are included. Cleaning is included, but does not exempt you from emptying the garbage cans and fridge, cleaning the kitchen area and barbecue, and removing sheets from the beds at the end of your stay.
